HOW TO CREATE YOUR FIRST BOOK 7 DAY ECOURSE

3. Never want to stop talking about your book

It doesn't have to be expensive, and the returns of self publishing can be very rewarding. The important thing is that you simply take action as soon as possible otherwise your book will always be stuck in your head and never down on paper for the world to read and benefit from.

Become an up-side-down traffic light

GREEN: Be ready to start now

YELLOW: Be extremely passionate, radiating a bright light about your book everywhere you go

RED: Never want to stop talking about your book

What is your book on?

Work out what your book subject is?

What is it that you are most passionate about?, What do you do best? or feel the world most needs you to write a book on? Often this is what you do for a living, often it could be a hobby but whatever it is work out what you are an expert in, what subject matter you know inside-out and back-to-front and that is what you should be writing your book about.

What is each chapter on?

Work out what your book contents is?

Once you know the subject of your book the next step is to work out what people need to know about that subject. Write a list of the 10 key things about that subject (eg. the 10 things you are best at or the 10 things people most need to know about). Once you have your list work out what is the natural order they flow in (eg. which topic is best to cover first, which topic is best to cover last and what is the natural flow between the two). Use this list as a basis for your table of contents and your book is half planned.
