About the Author: Julie Hall
Julie is a 57 year old mother of four and grandmother of six children aged between 3 and 6 yrs. Julie’s father was a school principal & she worked in a bank before marrying a farmer and raising her children. It was natural that her passion for writing children’s books would be centred around farm animals and have educational (but fun) stories.
About the Illustrator: Kim Woolley
Originally from the U.K. with a background is in educational publishing, Kim emigrated to Australia with her family in 2000. The first book she illustrated was’ France and French’ which was published in 1992 by Zigzag Publishing. Since then she has produced illustrations for over 60 children’s books, the most recent being the Dale and Friends series by Julie Hall.
Apart from illustrations she also works on various public art projects and over the last few years has become increasingly involved with teaching children creative skills, working with pre schoolers through to high school students.
